Special Note for Kiyomizu Machiya Inn
- Some parts of Yasaka Dori Street are closed for cars between 10am and 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, festivals and events in the neighbourhood.
- Some taxi cab drivers are also reluctant to drive through Yasaka Dori given the large numbers of tourists visiting this historical neighbourhood during the day.
- Should you need a taxi on the day you check-out, please make sure to check out before 10am as the road will be closed.
